About Khajeh Abdullah Ansary:
He was born in year 396 Hejree Ghamary or year 1005 A.D (About 1011 years ago) in Afghanestaun. He was an intelligent individual with great memory and knowledge.
He was fluent in Farsi and Arabic. Khajeh has written several books, like Monazaut Nameh (Book of Chants), Manazelo Sauereen, and more.
Khajeh has devided his book into 10 sections, each divided further into 10. A total of 100 steps are explained in this book. Steps towards knowing yourself, and God. A practical exercise for people in the journey of life.
Manazel in Farsi means houses, Sauereen means steps. In your journey you will stay in 100 different houses, each built upon previous house. You can call it a journey from the first floor (or the first house) to the 100th floor (house).
In terms of practicality and its effect in introducing human to its Creator, it is an amazing recipe. I enjoyed every word of it, and I strongly suggest to my children to seek it.
Suggestion: when you wake up in the morning, set aside a time to pray, and then follow up with reading about one step of khajeh’s manzel (Example Manzel or house of Awareness). As your day progresses, try to remind yourself of the particular house you are in.
Go for it children, life is beautiful.
