Mosses

Mosses’ Younger Years
From the book: Good Stories for Good Children

After Joseph’s passing, Egypt came into the hands of Pharaoh and his gain was to spread the word of idol worshiping. But the children of Jacob and the Israelites were known to worship the one God and that created friction between them.

Pharaoh said the Israelites are foreigners and slowly withdrew them from high political positions of power. Time passed and the number of Israelites grew and the Egyptians would utter insulates and take them as servants and slaves.

Four hundred years passed until the clever and selfish great Pharaoh came to power. Once he strengthened the pillars of power he realized some people talk about the one God and so he said. “I am the earthly God. I am the leader, your master and my rules will govern and there is nothing else.” some subservient individuals gathered around the Pharaoh in hope to gain power, favouritism and respect and it was at that time the Israelites were subjected to cruelty and injustice.

Pharaoh assigned the task of heavy labour, mixing mud with straw and stone carving to the strongest Hebrew and taking their women as servants. The men were given little food and were tormented and tortured to work and build pyramids and cities. The Israelites worked under horrific circumstances and in Pharaoh’s eyes the only thing that mattered least of all was human life.

Pharaoh did not have any children. His wife, Ausiye, believed in the one God but kept it hidden from the Pharaoh.

One day the Pharaoh had a dream and invited Idol keepers and oracles to interpret his dream.

He dreamt a wild fire destroyed the homes of all the Egyptians but the Hebrew homes remained untouched.

The interpreters said “this year from among the Israelites a boy is born and like a fire will sweep and burn idol worshipers and lead people to the one God and he will free all slaves and Egypt will be no more.

Pharaoh said “I know what must be done. Kill the first born son of all Israelites and this man will not exist.”

From that day the Pharaoh ordered to keep close eye on all Israelites household and to kill all new born boy child and leave the girls to be used as slaves and servants.

No one dared to defy the Pharaoh and stand in his way. The Hebrews were week, they prayed to God and waited for the day to be freed from bondage.

God wanted the deliverer to be a child from among the Israelites and nothing is considered higher than God’s will, therefore Mosses was born.

Omrun was a Sheppard and a God loving man. His ancestors dated back to Jacob. Omrun had a daughter and a son named Haroon and his wife was expecting another child. This news was kept secret until the night when the child was born. They became frightened once they realized it’s a boy and kept him hidden and out of sight. His mother nursed him for three days but it was difficult to keep a baby boy hidden and quite for long. Any day Pharaoh’s spies would give word of the new born.

The family gave much thought. In the end, God put the thought in the mother’s heart to put the child in a basket and release it on the water way and put trust in God for the future of her son. And so she did and prayed God will look after Mosses.
Mosses were put in a basket wrapped in a Hebrew cloth and released on the water. This water passed Ausiye, Pharaoh’s wife castle and on that day Ausiye was taking a stroll along the water with her courtiers and from a distance saw the basket floating on the water. As soon as the basket came closer it was caught among the tree branches.

From the book: Good stories for Good Children

Ausiye ordered the retrieval of the basket and once she looked and saw the smiling face of the infant, her heart leaped and warmly welcomed the child’s good nature. She said “now I have a child whom I can love. God has send to me this baby”

Word of the baby reached the Pharaoh. He said. “Dear wife, it worries me that this child could be the one we all worry about. Let me do away with him so we can be in peace.”

Ausiye said “there is nothing to worry about. It’s a shame everyone has a baby but the great Pharaoh remains without. The water has brought this gift to us, we should take him as our own and teach him all we know. He will be useful one day.”

Pharaoh finally agreed and names the boy Mosses. Ausiye began to search for a woman to breast feed Mosses. Many came forward but Mosses would not take and refused the milk until he became weak from hunger. Pharaoh send word into the city that he will accept any woman to come forward and feed his son.

Mosses’s mother sends her daughter to bring back news. When she saw the distress and pleading, she went forward and said “I know of a woman who can feed your son, would you like me to call upon her.”

Ausiye said “bring her to me, if the child accepts, so it will be done.”

Mosses’s mother came forward and she held Mosses to her breast and the two reunited once more.

Ausiye was relieved and asked who she was.

Mosses’s mother said. “I am Omrun’s wife. I stopped feeding my son Hauroon two years ago.”

Ausiye accepted her words. “Very well.”

When Ausiya’s happiness was revealed to the Pharaoh. He asked. “What tribe is this woman from?”

“She is an Israelites” Ausiye said. “She is a very good woman. Omrun is her husband and everyone speaks highly of him.”

Pharaoh said “dear wife, could it be that this child is Israelites as the woman is and we are raising an Israelites child. We have to be careful.”

Ausiye said” the things you say. We are raising this child in our home and our ways and customs. When he grows up how could he go against our wishes?”

Pharaoh said “I don’t know. I want us to have this child but somehow my heart says otherwise.”

Ausiye said ” don’t worry, it’s a long time till he grows up and it is our son and what we teach him. He will know nothing but of what we teach him.”

“We shall see.” said the Pharaoh.

And so it was. Mosses’s mother fed and raised him in the house of Pharaoh and no one was aware of the truth.

Slowly Pharaoh took to liking Mosses. When Mosses turned two he sat on Pharaoh’s lap and played with his long braided beard that was decorated with fine golden jewellery and beads. One day as Mosses was busy playing he tugged in the Pharaoh’s beard and slapped him and began to laugh. Suddenly the Pharaoh recalled his dream and what the dream teller told him. He turned and said to Ausiye “Dear you see what your child just did? I am worried he is the one that will destroy us all”

Ausiye said? “You have a wild imagination. He is just playing. He is not aware of what he is doing. This child is not the child you think.”

In the midst of their conversation, Mosses walked to the corner of the room where a bowl filled with dates was set beside a small glowing fire. Mosses picked up a piece of coal and injected in his mouth and began to cry out in pain.

Ausiye said. “You see, if this child new better he would eat from the dates.” and so Pharaoh’s heart was set at ease once more.

Some say, Mosses’s lack of speech stems from burning his mouth and that is why he asked God to have his brother Haroon talk on his behalf.

As Mosses grew up his wisdom and knowledge came to view. He was known to be a kind and generous man. He seen how hard the Israelites work and tried to be of some benefit to them. Mosses respected the elderly and promised them a day of liberation.

Mosses grew into a fine man with little freedom in the house of Pharaoh and a few were instructed to keep an eye on him. Mosses wanted to be free, come and go as he pleases, so one day he decided to go into the city and talk to people, listen to their troubles. As he was passing he saw Pharaoh’s solder arguing with an Israeli man. Mosses went forward to separate them and keep piece but the soldier would not allow Mosses to interfere. Mosses pushed the soldier away and he fell to the ground and died instantly.

This sudden incident shocked and worried Mosses. He said “curse be upon satin, I wanted to do good now people will say I am a killer.”

Mosses’s thoughts were correct. The spies told Pharaoh that Mosses killed one of your soldiers and defended a Hebrew man.

Pharaoh was angered and thought. Mosses is showing his true nature. I must remedy this situation.

That day Mosses did not return to the castle. The next day he saw the same man arguing with and idol worshiper. Mosses said. “Do you pick fights each day. This is not how to behave.”

Mosses was informed that the Pharaoh is aware of what he did and has told his assumption of mosses to his vazeers and they also confirm Pharaoh thoughts to be true.

“Yes, Mosses is different from the rest. He does not concern himself and ignores the idols, he protects the slaves, he ignores all formalities and protocols and no one has ever witnessed Mosses to kiss Pharaoh’s hand. Now it has come to be that Mosses kills people in broad daylight which makes him a dangerous man.”

They told the Pharaoh “you have created an enemy with your own hands.”

Pharaoh said “it’s not too late. We can still control the situation. We can stop the loss and change to our gain. Find Mosses and bring him to me, I will make judgement.”

One of Pharaoh’s soldier who was also Mosses’s friend brought the news to him and said. “Pharaoh has ordered your capture and has instructed thousands of his men to look for you. If you don’t want to make matters worse for the Israelites, I suggest you leave Egypt and stay hidden until this blow

Mosses and shabe
From the book: Good Stories for Good Children

Mosses did not want to cause more hostility than already present between the
Israelites. He made the decision to leave Egypt and asked God for help. “dear God
Save me from those oppressive people.”

Mosses left Egypt with nothing but the shirt on his back. For several days he walked the hot desert sands until he reached the city of Madeen.

After a long walk through the hot desert Mosses was tired and thirsty. A distance ahead a well came into view just outside the city surrounded by travelers arguing with two
women.

“you have no right to take our turn.” the women insisted as the men withdrew water.

Mosses approached them and said. “What’s all the camossion?”

The women said “these men will not obey the rules of this well. It is our turn to
water our sheep, our father will worry if we return home late.”

Mosses listened and became upset at the unfair behavior of the men. He grabbed
the stick out of the women’s hand and walked towards the men. “will you listen to
reason and move aside or will I have to use this stick on you.”

The men pulled aside “of course, we did not know it was there turn.”

Mosses filled the women’s buckets and watered their sheep. “you may now take them
home.”

Mosses took shelter under a tree and looked to the sky. “dear God, I have no one to
help me but you.”

The women were the daughters of Shabe who was known as a kind and fair man. Shabe
believed in the one God and invited people to believe in the God of Jacob and God of
Abraham.

When the women reached home their father asked. “you are home earlier than before”

The women explained. “a good man came and took our turn back from those travellers
and watered our sheep.”

Shabe said. “what man? Quickly go find him and bring him to me.”

One of the women went back and found Mosses sitting under the tree.
She said “our father would like to meet you and invites you to our home.

Mosses stood up “very well, you go ahead and I will follow you.”

Shabe asked Mosses about his whereabouts and he confided in Shabe all that had
happened, about Pharaoh and his injustice to the people, about the slaves in bondage
and the Israelites’ heartaches. “and now they are searching for me and I left Egypt
in hope of salvation for myself and my people. ”

Shabe said “you found freedom, your people will also find freedom. You are in the
city of Madeen which does not belong to Egypt. You remain as my guest and whatever
good wills will be.”

Safrau, Shabe’s oldest daughter, suggested to her father “since this man is not
returning home, you can teach him the ways of our land as he is honest, capable and
strong.”

Shabe asked Mosses “would you like to stay with us and work?”

Mosses accepted “man has to work where ever he is.”

Shabe said “If you stay with us eight to ten years I will give one of my daughters
to be your bride and you shall see we are good people.”

Mosses said “I accept and God is the witness to this arrangement.”

Mosses worked for ten years as a Shepard for Shabe and married Safrau. After a time
Mosses said “now we have completed our arrangement and it’s time for me to return to
my people.”

Shabe agreed and prayed for his journey and gave him four hundred sheep and his
staff which was handed down to him from generations ago and Mosses and Safrau began
the journey back to Egypt.

Mosses’s confrontation with Pharaoh

They got farther and farther away from city Of Madeen. Night had fallen bringing
with it a cold breeze. Mosses wanted to start a fire at their rest area by striking
two stones together when from the corner of his eye noticed a bright light. He
assumed it’s a camp site for other travelers so he said to his wife “stay here and I
fetch us fire starter.” but the farther he walked the farther away the fire
appeared. Mosses gathered some dried twigs but each time he looked for the fire it
seemed to be near but then far, in the mountain, in the trees than there was none.
Mosses walked for a while than rested at the bottom of a mountain shook his head and
said. “dear God” than he heard a reply. “Mosses, welcome to this sacred valley where
there is no fire except the glow from God. The God who speaks to you”

This was Mosses’ first encounter with God as he is known to be a Kaleem Allah (the one
who spoke to God.) At that moment two miracles appeared. Mosses’s staff, the one Shabe
gave to him, was capable of changing its form to a serpent. As well as a light shown
from the palm of his hand. In that moment Mosses was chosen by God to be a Prophet
and he was instructed to travel to Egypt and invite Pharaoh to accept the one God.

Mosses said “dear God, than allow my brother, Haroon, who’s speech is better to
travel with me.”
And so God made Haroon to be Mosses’ partner and Mosses prayed. “dear God, make this
journey easy, make my heart strong and my tongue to only speak your words.

Than Mosses, the prophet whom was in possession of two miracles from God was certain to defeat the Pharaoh. Mosses told Haroon God’s instructions and together they began the journey towards Egypt.

Pharaoh was surprised to see Mosses and said. “I don’t know where you went and what
you want now that you have returned?”

Mosses said “in those days I was not free from your injustice but today I am not
afraid of anything because today my brother Horoon and I are chosen to be prophets
and come to bring God’s words and invite you and the people of Egypt to set aside your false claims and reframe from worshiping sticks and stones and begin worshiping the one
great God.”

Pharaoh was shocked. “what changed, until yesterday you were playing in this house
and after several years of wondering the wilderness you bring me news of an unknown
God? As far as I know, no one in our reference books fits the description of the God your
talking about. What are you referring to?”

Mosses explained “the God that created the world, the earth, humans, life and death
are all in his hands. God of Noah, God of Abraham, God of Jacob and Joseph.”

Pharaoh began to worry “what reason do you have for this claim?”

Mosses said “my reason is in my hand a sign of God’s power.”

Mosses through down his staff and immediately turned into a slithering python which surprised and scared Pharaoh and his followers.

Mosses picked up the python and immediately returned to its original staff form.

Mosses said “and behold God’s sign” so he held out his hand to reveal a bright light
from the palm of his hand.

All the lookers were surprised and amazed at what they witnessed. In his
astonishment Pharaoh said ” Mosses your actions are unexplainable but you were
raised in our home and we shared the same bread. We were very kind to you. Now give
me till tomorrow and let me think over your words. We are not enemies.”

Mosses was than instructed by God to be patient on the first visit, therefore, he
accepted and said. “alright. You think and accept. God’s work is not by force. It’s
by realizing, understanding and accepting.”

That night Pharaoh and his men consulted with each other.

Pharaoh asked “what shall be done? We have to provide a convincing answer for this
strange manor else we will be ruined. There must be something to his magic?”

Haumon, Pharaoh’s vazeer, who possessed no conscience and lived for money and power
alone, said “the way I see it, Mosses by himself is nothing, he acquired witchery
and tricks the years he roamed the wilderness and now returns to create chaos among
the people and take away your throne. We need to bring in our enchanters and make a
mockery out of Mosses.”

Pharaoh said “do what needs to be done and and do not allow Mosses near the people.
It will not look good if we use force. It will be better to make an accusation and
let the people distrust him.”

Next day people gathered and the enchanters were ready for their trickery. Pharaoh
Said to Mosses “the other day you performed a trick and said it was a sign of prophecy when these tricks can also be done by my enchanters. You have no right to lead people
astray.”

Mosses said “no one can stand in the way of God’s doing.”

Pharaoh said “we shall put this to a test. The people are wise and will understand.”

Mosses said “of course. If people did not possess intellect than they would be doomed
for sure.”

And so with Pharaoh’s command the magicians and enchanters brought out their staffs,
sticks, ropes and idols they had prepared. “So Mosses, will you began or should
we?”

Mosses said “began, I like to see your performance.”

So the enchanters set to motion some of what they brought with them and it seemed
strange to the audience. The sticks and ropes were slithering on the ground like
snakes.

Mosses said “behold God’s power.” He through his staff among the snakes and at once
turned into a great dragon and swallowed the snakes and charged at Pharaoh and him
people. Mosses quickly reached out and picked up the dragon which at once turned
back into a staff.

At once a commotion build up among Israelites and several shouted. “we have put our
faith and belief in Mosses and Haroon’s God.”

The enchanters said to Pharaoh “we presented our ultimate magic but Mosses’s staff
voided our trick.”

Pharaoh realized the scandal he caused and out of fright raised his voice and said
“do you intend to commit murder and make trouble again Mosses .”

Mosses said “no, we are inviting people to believe in the one God and fairness to
all. We are not for war and so far do not have such instructions.”

Pharaoh said “very good, if you are for peace than let me help you. Give us one
month so we can find a way to get closer to keeping peace. We always hold the
people’s interest at heart.”

With deceit Pharaoh calmed the people down and once Mosses and Haroon departed he
turned to his vazeer and said “arrest the people who believe in Mosses’s God and
bring them to me and tell others, their blood is on their own hands if they change
their belief in vain.”

Than Pharaoh told the believers “why are you announcing your belief without my
permission. Aren’t I the keeper of all lands and its people?”

The people said “you are the Pharaoh but Mosses’s God is mighty and the keeper of all lands and It’s people. We are aware of magic and Mosses’s staff did not commit to magic.

“I will show you who is mighty.” Pharaoh said and he sentenced them all to prison.
Than he assembled a few of his followers including Haumon and Hizgheel to find a
solution.

Hizgheel and Pharaoh were related and Hizgheel was an honest and wise man and
Pharaoh respected him and included him on important decisions.

Hizgheel was a believer of the one God but kept it a secret so he can be of benefit
to Pharaoh’s decision making.

In the private assembly Haumoon, Pharaoh’s vazeer said “in my opinion we must act
fast and do away with Mosses otherwise as days go by more and more people will
follow Mosses and we will have a bigger problem.”

Hizgheel said “but in my opinion harming Mosses is dangerous. We must keep peace
with the Israelites and give them hope. After all we are still unsure of everything
and must not act hastily. It’s true Pharaoh is great but there are other factors as
well. It boils down to two things. Either Mosses is true to his words or he is not.
If there is some truth to his words and he has connected with the God of the skies
like Noah and other prophets, than we cannot involve ourselves. But we believe he
is telling a falsehood and in that case slowly he will be found out and ruined. He
will loose respect among the Israelites and the people will once again return to
Pharaoh.”

Haumon said “Hizgheel has a good heart but does not understand our management ways.
Recall the year Mosses came to the house of Pharaoh? It was Ausiya’s good heart
that caused Mosses to live, otherwise he would have been long gone. In this world
management is only achieved with oppression.”

Several people agreed and Hizgheel said “don’t make a hasty decision, and you
Hauman, stop talking about killing and arresting. Pharaoh truly wants to be a good
leader. The way you talk it seems as if Mosses is here to do away with us all or he
is the man that the idol keepers predicted. If Mosses is that man as we can see has
returned just like Joseph who was saved from the well and freed from prison and in
the end what took place was meant to happen and what remained was the scandal. But
if Mosses Is not such a person by imprisoning him will put a bad spot in people’s
hearts toward Pharaoh, because in this world no one accepts oppression towards
another.”

Pharaoh said “I agree with Hizgheel. Mosses worries me but my heart is not
completely convinced to destroy him. We will wait and come up with a scheme to keep
him calm.”

Hizgheel Trial

The council was dismissed but Haumon held a grudge against Hizgheel and told everyone
he saw that Hizgheel believes in Mosses’s God and has taken his side. If we allow
Hizgheel to remain here we have created an in-house enemy for ourselves. As you
witnessed, it did not matter what I told the Pharaoh, he still took Hizgheel’s side.
Now it’s up to you to voice your opinion to the Pharaoh.”

The talk of Hizgheel spread wide until it reached Pharaoh’s ear. They said “while
you are sitting on your thrown chair, Hizgheel is spreading Mosses’s words and
gathering many followers for himself.”

The Pharaoh did not expect to hear such words from his people. He became
frightened of his own management and armies capabilities. Pharaoh said “we must put
this in-house enemy in his place. I know Hizgheel is not a liar but we will conduct
a private court hearing and I will ask his relationship with Mosses. He must swear
his innocence to our gods but if he refers to Mosses’s God he will be punished for
his crime.”

Pharaoh gathered his most knowledgeable men to the court and began questioning Hizgheel.

“we understand you believe in Mosses and his God and you are turning away from our
Gods.”

Hizgheel asked “have you ever heard me tell a lie?”

Pharaoh replied “never.”

Hizgheel continued “do you understand that all I say now will and completely be true?”

Pharaoh replied “I understand and accept.”

Hizgheel said “now that it’s so, ask all these people who are present, who is their
God?”

Pharaoh turned to his court and asked “yes, everyone share and give your opinion.”

They said “we swear that Pharaoh is our God and the soil, land and water belongs to
him and life and death are in his hands and he is the greatest of all Gods.”

Hizgheel said “very well, I will hold everyone present hear today as witnesses that
my God is also the same as your God. The one who created the soil, land and
water. The one who holds life and death in his hands and is the greatest above all.
And even holds Mosses’s life and death in his hands and my God is the same as all
the people of Egypt’s God.”

With this clever answer Hizgheel did not lie and Pharaoh accepted his answer and believed he worshiped the Pharaoh and with this Hizgheel was set free.

On one hand the Israelites believed in Mosses and his staff but on another hand
Pharaoh’s wrath was still upon them to build him a city. The Israelite told Mosses
“you must be firm and convince the Pharaoh to set us free and allow us to live in
peace with respect and equal laws.”

Mosses said “you are right. But I do not act on my own except on what God wills me
to do.”

Mosses and Haroon went to Pharaoh on the specified day and say “your time is up.
You must withdraw your forces and let the people of Israel leave Egypt. Otherwise a
severe heavily torment will blacken your days.”

Pharaoh kept on prolonging and giving Mosses false promises until Mosses prayed to
God and asked for an end. And so God send a violent storm, than the Neil river
turned blood red and each time Pharaoh would be frightened and promises to let the
Israelites go. But when the wrath subsided the Pharaoh would once again continue his
forceful ways on people.

Israelites told Mosses “the way we see it this situation will not change and we will
be slaves years to come.”

Mosses said “God’s words is just and once these tormented days are done. Peace and
prosperous days will follow ”

Mosses and Haroon went to see Pharaoh for the final time. Mosses said “the days of
promise and waiting are over. Either you accept the one great God and reframe from
your Godly claims or await a severe heavenly torment. If you agree to release the
Israelites with their belongings so we can go to a land of our choosing maybe God
will be lenient with his wrath otherwise you and your people will parish .”

Pharaoh said “hey Mosses, you’re taking this harshly. You are wrong if you think your
staff frightens us. I did not want to hurt you but it seems you leave me no choice.
Know this, up to now we have been exercising prudence but neither I nor my people
believe in what you say.”

Mosses said “up to now we have been waiting patiently. This is not mosses or
Pharaoh’s issue but thousands of Gods innocent people and God wills for all
injustice and cruelty to end.”

Pharaoh said “do you know what Mosses “you claim your God is the wisest of all, than
go and tell him to do whatever he is capable of. Otherwise I will bring upon you and
your people all that I can. I am not willing to speak with you any longer and that
is the end.”

Mosses departed and spoke to God and received his order.

He announced to the Israelites “the day of salvation and freedom is coming. No one
is a slave or servant any longer. Everyone get ready and whoever is with us will be
freed.”

On a dark night they gathered with families and their belongings and began their
journey out of Egypt. Word got to Pharaoh “now we shall follow them and wipe them
all out.”

Pharaoh gathered his army. “Now let’s go and finish what we should have done before.”

The way was leading them all to the sea and just as Pharaoh was reaching the sea
Mosses and the Israelites were waiting at the edge of the sea with fright.

The people spoke out in fright “you brought us to a place where there is no going
back or going forward. Pharaoh’s army is upon us.”

Mosses said “what I do comes from God and he is the doer and knower of all.
Therefore, we will cross the sea and no harm will come to us.”

Other said “we cannot swim we must walk on land.”

Mosses said “if God wills it the sea will become dry.” and so Mosses pointed to the
sea with his staff and the sea spilt open creating a high wall on both sides
exposing dry land. Quickly the people crossed the lake to the other side and Pahraoh’s army was close behind. And so whoever followed Pharaoh drowned in the sea and those who secretly believed in Mosses’s God went back to Egypt and with Hizgheel’s teaching began to start a peaceful life.

Mosses and his people were to settle in city of Maghdis but those people were also
idle worshipers and this scared the Israelites, therefore, they lived in the
wilderness for fourth years.

Mosses and Torot (Tora) Library

Time passed and the Israelites became ungrateful for what they had and asked Mosses.
“there is nothing here for us. You promised us a heavily place where the food comes
from the sky and we would possess a holy book and become honorable.”

Mosses said “you have forgotten, remember your sons were taken as slaves and your
daughters as servants? You had no freedom and were contempt to Pharaoh’s ways.
Didn’t God create land between the sea and he saved you for the Pharaoh?”

Israelites said “everything in its own place. In Egypt we were held in contempt and
here we have to work and cultivate this dry land. We have no green pastures,
entertainment or fun and we don’t possess a holy book from God to be proud of and to
practice our faith.”

Mosses said “God’s promises is just. Wait for thirty days and God will lead us. I
will leave my brother Haroon with you while I go to God.”

And so Mosses went to the mountain of Toon (Siania) he was to return in thirty days
but God wanted to test the people and therefore, Mosses was away for fourth days at
which time the ten commandments were given to him on tablets by God and Mosses
returned to his people.

When Mooses took longer than he had promised, the people started their sinful ways.
The power thirsty people went under Satan’s spell and made a golden cow while says.
” Mosses broke his promise, he is late and will not return and our misfortune is
that we are now left without an idle. Now I have built for you a golden cow and
God’s spirit is present in it.”

So the foolish people gathered and since they did not see through his trick believed
him and began to worship the golden cow.

When Mosses stepped down from the mountain he saw the people and became very angry
and said “you commit sin with your unworthy behavior .”

Mosses was so angry he through the tablets at the people and grabbed Haroon and
said “why did you allow the people to lead in sinful ways and accept the golden
cow?”

Haroon said “dear brother, don’t be angry with me, these people would not listen to
reason, they saw me to be week and almost had me killed. I did not condone their
ways.”

Mosses said “I pray that God forgives you and bring his wrath on to those who
believe in their sinful ways.”

Once Mosses was calm he brought forward the tablets that held God’s writing. On the
tablet it held writing for each life situation and the answer to it. Mosses began to
build a house and called it Jerusalem and laid the tablets inside it and so the
house became the first religious library.

Mosses showed the people the way to salvation and said “you brought sin upon
yourselves and now must repent.”

The people became hopeful once they saw Gods commands and Mosses set the golden cow
on fire.
